Exta was the very first well known Astra Guardian. When the corruption showed up in Enoqi early on in the fist Aeon, Exta was the first to step up and challenge it, successfully defeating it and saving Enoqi from danger. They were one of the few who made use of Aeos, which was newly discovered early in the first Aeon.

To fight the corruption, they used aeos channeled through their fists.
