It's summmerrrr!! Summer has been sort of my favourite season next to spring, mostly because it's always sunny and the days are long. It's also my birth season. >:] Not a fan of the hot weather though when it peaks, hah.
STORY/PROJECT NEWS!
I'm making steady progress on writing future chapters of Star Quest. Not much of an update from last newsletter as I'm still working on Chapter 4 and 5. I've finished off Chapter 4 and looking to get it beta read, get some feedback, and I can move onto editing it! Chapter 5 I'm working on cleaning up and solidifying the beginning and the end of it too. Once that's all done I can move onto finishing up Chapter 3 and get back to updating the comic for real!
I also just recently just finished a short comic for the We Heart Webcomics comic fair, hosted by Spiderforest Collective! Called Edge of Pheolvian: A Snippet, it's a scene from my project I've been calling AWAKEN. Here's some preview images!
For me it's rare that I start and finish something like this, so I'm excited for the comic's upcoming debut! It kinda gives me the confidence to do more short comics like these.
SITE NEWS!?
Not much on the site end actually! To be fair, it's been a little over a month since the last the update, so I haven't had any time to actually add anything significant haha. Though I have been adding my site to a boatload of fanlistings that you can see in the Links page huhu.
On the Cinnaverse site, things have been developing... I'm getting around to adding themes onto the site! They haven't gone live yet since I'm still fiddling around with the code to make sure it works, but I'm super excited to launch it when I finish it up!

Since I've finished my comic for the WHWCF, a chunk of my time has been freed up. So I'd like to get around to finally updating the skectchlog and gallery!
SHOP NEWS!!
The shop has been quiet lately, though there's a new Ralsei sticker up for sale now!
I should also mention that I've started taking commissions again through VGen- they're closed at the moment while I finish up my current queue but hopefully by September they'll be back open again!
LIFE THINGS!
This summer's been pretty quiet, so not much has been happening! Most of it is dayjob stuff but you don't need to hear about that LOL. I did meet up with an irl friend and we visited Cakehoarder Games for the first time. It was super cool seeing so many retro games in one place in one time! I came out with a couple stickers along with a copy of Monster Hunter Stories for the 3DS. I have the second one on Switch, so why not grab the first?
I've been reading loads of manga too! I picked up Daemons of the Shadow Realm again since I'm a huge fan of FMA and I'm enjoying it so far. Alongside that I'm reading The Drifting Classroom, which is an absolutely batshit chaotic story. like holy hell???
I'm still playing through Grandia 1 in short bursts. I thiiiiiiink I'm about 3/4 of the way through! On god I will finish this JRPG before the end of the year lmfao. And Fields of Mistria 1.0 has been released so I'm getting back into that too since it's been several months since then! :9
The latter half of the year has some exciting events going on so I'm looking forward to going to them and talking about them too!
