Winter 2026

February 9, 2026

It's... still winter, right?? I have no idea, the mild spring weather popping up has me confused. (and a little worried.) This newsletter is gonna be a bit of a short one, since not much has been happening on my end except chillaxing. Chillmaxxing. Let's get into it!

STORY/PROJECT NEWS!

Star Quest is still on its hiatus and I'm still taking breaks from pages. This month I plan to lean into page creation more to get ready for it to come back in the Spring! I'm hoping for April/May, but we shall see what the future holds.

As of right now I'm trying to finish up the current scene and move onto the next one- which is gonna have a lot of action in it and have me diving into stuff I don't normall draw, so it'll be fun!

SITE NEWS!?

Not much on the site updates end, but I finally fixed my site's RSS feed! At first I thought it was an issue with my main browser and reader (waterfox + fraidycat), but NOPE changes to it actually needed to be made hahaha. So now after comparing it to other RSS feeds and updating mine it works correctly. If you still have the old one added to your feed reader, it's inactive! Here's the link to the new one!

ART RECAP!!

Here's some art that was posted onto the site these past few months! During my comic break I've been leaning into my WIPs folder and finishing them. It's been fun!

SHOP NEWS!!

The shop has been updated with Star Quest keychains and photocards, plus I updated the product photos to be more consistent! Next up, I'd really like to get my 2020 sketchzine out along with more stickers and photocards! As always you can find my shop on Ko-Fi here!

LIFE THINGS!

Ah, life. How stressful you are.

Life has been going, but I'm still in the process of a huge life transition and it's a little scary ngl!!

I've picked up the game Grandia again after not playing it for a whole year! I restarted my initial save and have been having a blast with it! It's such a charming, goofy game with a colorful atmosphere and the occasional voice acting is like the cherry on top lol

During SacAnime Winter I even acquired a physical copy of it but no way to play it...so getting my hands on a PS1 is in the cards for me. Surprisingly it came with the instruction manual (!!!!) and I enjoyed reading through it (and also- learning how to play the game since I've been blindly figuring it out as I go asfhlkfjlfdj). Since modern games don't come with instruction manuals anymore and me not seeing an instruction manual since like- early 3DS era it made me miss them. So it was a nice treat!

Another thing happening on my end is getting my shit together and organizing my life sooooo... I acquired a planner, a Hobonichi Techo Weeks to be exact, and I LOVE ITTT

Ampharos keychain is by ChibiOneechan!

I might make a future blog post about my experience using one. I've used them before somewhat in the past ~5-6 years, but definitely not to the extent I'm using this one. I have so many more things to keep track of and notate and felt that it'd be better for me to use a planner to keep track of them all!

Anyway- that’s it for this newsletter. See you in the spring!
